Adult Sunday School: Prayer

The Elders will be offering a time for prayer with members of the congregation.  This will take place during the Sunday School hour.  They will be meeting in the room where Clint's Sunday School class normally meets.  They are looking forward to meeting with and praying for those in our church family. If you would like to participate in this, you can do so every Sunday, or you can join in on various Sundays whenever you would like to be a part of it.
Contact Clint if you have further questions about it.

Be Free (Galatians): Exchange Legalism for True Spirituality-Chapter 5

For the next 13 weeks, our Ladies Sunday Morning Bible Study will be looking at the book of Galatians.
More than just a guide to understanding Galatians, best-selling author Warren Wiersbe's Be Free is also a guide to embracing freedom in Christ. As a man who is known as the "pastor of pastors" and has studied the Bible relentlessly, gleaning relevance for today for his readers and listeners, Wiersbe has so gripped the hearts of his wide audience that he has sold over 4 million copies of his "Be" series alone!

His accessible, at times quirky and comical, style of writing is perfect for any age group to crave more of the Word of God. He opens up Paul's epistle, explaining Paul's approach to the Galatians and putting ancient traditions in perspective for Christians today. Most importantly, he illustrates through Paul's writing how the Gospel can only remain the Gospel of Christ if it is solely for God's glory alone. Just as the Galatian church was slipping back into the dangerous rituals of the Jewish religious system, Christians today add parameters around Scripture that hinder them and that Christ never intended.

Established in 1947, Camp Pearl was founded for the purpose of serving fourteen independent Bible Churches in Southeast Texas and Louisiana, and is financially supported by those churches,  countless individuals, and other churches. What started as a two-week summer camp has grown into seven weeks of camps during the summer, and weekend retreats and property rentals most every weekend.
Camp Pearl has a fifty-six acre campus and a staff of seven. Camp Pearl offers camping, conferences, retreats, and seminars throughout the year for every age group.

Bertram Bobb

Located in the heart of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, on the shores of Pine Creek Lake, in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains in scenic southeastern Oklahoma. The camp is 7 miles north of Hwy 3 at Ringold OK.
Bertram Bobb Bible Camp was built in 1971 by Rev. Bertram E. Bobb, a respected leader of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. and for the past 52 years BBBC has been providing kids and youth of Southeastern Oklahoma the  opportunity to experience a week of recreation, fun and fellowship in a Christ-centered environment.
Many campers have had life changing experiences through the ministry that takes place at Bertram Bobb Bible Camp and we pray that God will continue to do great things in the lives of young people for years to come.
